Walk with Me
We can talk on the way to work, if you like. Hop in. We’ve got the roof tilers coming in this arvo so I’ll have to duck back home at some point before they come. Hopefully the hospital doesn’t get too busy before then.
My husband Rob does most of the weekday cooking: I don’t get home until six, six thirty most days, but it can vary depending on how busy the hospital is. It’s not like he’s not busy too, though. He’s a builder and sometimes work can get quite hectic as they push for deadlines.
Of course I’ll grab takeaway some nights to save him the trouble of cooking. Chinese, Indian, that new fish and chip shop’s not bad – have you been there? You know what it’s like after a long day — you just want to wind down on the couch and watch the box!
Rob and I moved down here after we got married. We recently bought a house; but are still paying off the last of our student loans as well. We’re planning on having children one day, but we’ve got a lot going on financially at the moment. Anyway, our cat Ninja’s like a baby!
